Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Puerto Rico

7 sibling owners who has authority

my father inlaw put his house and poperty in the names of his 7 children. My husband and I live on that property in a seperate home we built. We wanted him to seperate the portion of land that we live on and run our business from and put it soley under our names. Can it be done and do we have any greater claim to to the property because we built a home and business on it.
