STD Transmission Charges?

If someone was to infect another with and STD such as herpes what legal action could be taken against that individual? If someone was to infect a minor (age 16) with an STD such as herpes what legal action could be taken against this individual?

Re: STD Transmission Charges?

If a person knowingly and intentionally infects a person with a STD, that would likely be actionable both civilly and criminally, such that the victim could sue for damages and also file a criminal complaint. If you would like to discuss this further, feel free to call me at my office Wednesday 3/26/03 or later, as I will be out of the office until then; you may review our qualifications at www.montsum.com.
