Legal Question in Personal Injury in Rhode Island

personal inj -m/v accident

i was involved in a serious motorcycle accident in aug of this year. The woman who hit me is from quebec, canada. She was 100% at faukt (which it states on the police report). I am 100% disbled with many more months of medical treatment. i have no way to sustain myself while i recooperate. I worked for myself and was offered a great job which i could not take due to the accident (substantiated by company that would have hired me) My question is, can I make the insurance company pay my living expenese until i am able to return to work? (My creditors are already sending the balances to collections ,I am fending off the foreclosure. and my credit rating is ruined)

Your question is very long and involved. If you currently have an attorney you should ask them this question I cannot substitute my opinion for theirs. If you do not have an attorney you need to get one this is not the type of case you can handle yourself. I have handled cases exactly like yours with drivers from Canada. There are some pitfalls but it can be done. If you do not have a lawyer already feel free to contact me..
