Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Rhode Island

Can I keep a house that was left to me in a will that has a mortgage on it. I plan on keeping the house and renting it. Can I just continue to pay the mortgage?

Depends on the mortgage, you may have to make arrangements to obtain new financing.
