Legal Question in Family Law in South Africa

If a couple married in-community of property is in the process of divorce. Is there law restricting or permitting other spouse to have access to the other spouse's assets / finances?

That is, does it mean for the other spouse to have information on issues pertaining to provident/pension funds or other assets, the process can only happen after the divorce has been finalised.

My simplest question is as a spouse, do I have a right to confront my spouse's employer and request information on his/her provident / pension funds?
