Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina

My husband and I are considering divorce and as in most homes, he is the bread winner of the family and his name is on the deed to the house. I can find a safe and consistent place of my own to live and I can make the money to provide for our daughter, but if we go for a custody case, what can I do to ensure that he won't take her completely from me as he threatens to do?

Until you have a Court Order in place, those fears will always exist. The Order will outline everyone's rights and responsibilities.

These are complex issues, and it is important that they be handled correctly. Therefore, it is important that you consult an experienced family law attorney to find out what options are available to you based on the facts of your particular case.
