Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in South Carolina
My bank took $400 out of my checking account,for a loan that I co-signed for in 1998.The person that I co-signed for,says that the loan was paid off in 2003.Neither one of us has the paperwork to prove this.What can I do?

Ask the bank for their proof that the debt was still owed.
