Legal Question in Criminal Law in South Carolina

Drugs-What might happen to me?

I was arrested for Possesion with intent to distribute, possesion of controlled substance and possesion of drug paraphenalia. I spent the night in jail and signed my own Recog.Bond the next day, my fine was set at $2,373.00. I was listed in General Sessions Court and then Recieved PTI (pre-trial intervention), in which I was required to do 50 hours communtiy service, sit in on a general sessions trial for 3 hours and write a report on what I saw, attend Drug abuse and Substance abuse counseling, and submit to random drug testing. You must be in the program for not less than 90 days and not more than 1 year. PTI is a once in a lifetime oppurtunity and if you get terminated your case goes back to trial...So that's where i am, I was terminated for not completeing my Community Service. What is gonna happen to me??????

Re: Drugs-What might happen to me?

Basically, you go back to square one, just like when you were first arrested, except that now the judge might be harder on you bacuase you were given a nice opportunity, that being PTI, and now are out of the program. You might recieve another offer or could end up going to trial. I think at this point you need to speak with a lawyer. Your welcome to call.
