Legal Question in Criminal Law in South Carolina

Falsely accused

I was arrested on charges of theft from my ex-employer. There was no invenstigation into these charges before I was arrested. The reason for that is the person who wanted me arrested is an actor and highly connected in the small town in which we lived. The judge is his personal attorney. They still have no evidence against me and I have to go to court once a month for ''roll call''. I have all the evidence to prove I did not steal. They do not want to admit to there mistake. What can I do about this?

Re: Falsely accused

I have serious doubts about your question. First, judges in Florida are not allowed to practice law. The judge could not currently be your accuser's personal lawyer. Second, if the judge had a close business relationship with your accuser, he should recuse himself from the case. Your lawyer should be able to have him do so. If this is a real situation, and you are not just pulling our legs, you may call me at (863) 648-1700, and I'll try to give you some advice.
