my husband is currently serving time in scdc but he has an open case for dus 3rd offense. how do we go about letting him run his time cuncurrent while he is there

That would be a matter for the solicitor's office. They propably will not talk with you since you do not legally represent your husband and they would prefer to speak with an attorney. My practice is in Horry and Georgetown counties if you need help there.
