can i fire him without charge and get all my money back because he has not helped us at all? he wants $7500 just to start out with and he hasnt done not one thing.

Under the ethical rules a client has the right to release an attorney anytime they want. As to getting money back, that would all depend on what the agreement was with the attorney, how much time & work the attorney has in the case.
