police out of jurisdiction

i was in a parked car in a public parking lot when 4 cops on foot approach the vehicle they told me to step out of the i asked why they then pull out guns yelling 4 me to get out i did no crime up to this point so i open the door and they grab me put me face down on the pavement i couldn't breath cuz they had my mouth and nose on the pavement so i struggled a lil so i could get some air thats when i was tazed after that i was in great pain Im still face down not getting air so im begging them to stop but ican barley talk i then heard one asked did i want sum more and he tazed me for 10 more secs they then searched the car found a gun and marijuana charge me with it i told him it wasnt mine i wasnt driving i was just sitting in the car there was another person in the car but i was the only one charged i then found out the cops who started this was from lakecity police department they said they were doing a alcohol compliance check was this legal (the police who tazed me was from marion) we were in florence

If the police had a legal reason to ask you out of the car then they would be allowed to search the vehicle. I do not understand how sitting in a public parking lot would have anything to do with an alcohol compliance check. What sort of parking lot was it? It would also be helpful to know where in the car the gun and marijauna was found and whether you know who owned the gun and whether it was registered.
