If the police come with search warrent and search everything but dont find anything an leave but come right back and find a gun and drugs under the same car they just searched can they still lock someone up if know one is around the car?

A little more information would be helpful. Assuming the car is on private property and they arrested the owner or occupant, then it would sound legal that they could arrest that person. Again, I'd prefer to have more information.
