Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina

child support

I would like to know if it's possible for my daughter to receive child support from her daughter's biological father who is not an American citizen. He lives in and is a citazen of Costa Rica. His name is not on the birth certificate, but he is aware of the child's existence.

Re: child support

He can be ordered to pay child support, but enforcing the order will be difficult. In a situation like this, you may want to talk with D.S.S. Child Support Enforcement, as they might be able to help you at no cost.

If you need more information, you can visit my family law blog (www.SCFamilyLaw.com) or our website (www.StevensFirm.com). I wish you the best of luck.
