Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina

I am the custodial parent of my daughter. her mother was let off of all her obligations to pay child support. NOw i have just found out that i have a 10 year old in Montana. She told me she kept this information for her own reasons.now i am oredered to pay 300 a month for a child i can't afford , cannot see, and will probabably never get to know. Is this wrong? discrimination? has she commited a crime. ia m so confused?
