Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina

My husband forced me to leave our house, he filed a false report and tried to get me arrested, but the charges were dropped. I left a week ago and he expects me to pay the bills that I was paying before I left. Do I have to and can he legally make me

He cannot "force" you to do anything without a Court Order, and much more information is needed to give an opinion as to what the Court might do. Now, whether it's in your best interest to pay any of those bills at this point is a different question, but again, more information would be needed to answer it.

These are complex issues, and it is important that they be handled correctly. Therefore, it is important that you consult an experienced family law attorney to find out what options are available to you based on the facts of your particular case. If you need more information, you can visit my family law blog (www.SCFamilyLaw.com) or our website (www.SpartanburgLawyers.com). I wish you the best of luck.
