Can I get my money back?

If a man's ex girlfriend says the baby is his and he was giving her money even though he was not put on child support, and they never got married but he doesn't think it is his, but then he gets tested and finds out it is not his can he get his money back?

Re: Can I get my money back?

Typically the answer is "no" because the Court will consider it to be a gift under those circumstances. That would be akin to giving other gifts to people, changing one's mind, and then wanting them back.

The only exception might be if you could prove that the mother acted intentionally and sue her for fraud, but she would have to have sufficient assets from which to recover such a judgment, which is unlikely.
