Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina

Is there a paper that my husband can sign, indicating that he is responsible for a rental property that is in my name and on my credit to release me of the monthly depth so I am able to purchase my own home without being legally separated or legally divorce. We both live in different states and is no longer together. He wants to sign if there is such a paper assuming all depth of the current rental property so that I can purchase this home.

This answer will depend on what the creditor requires. Many of them will not do anything like this because it's not in their best interest to let one debtor off the hook, but most of the ones that do will require an Order.

These are complex issues, and it is important that they be handled correctly. Therefore, it is important that you consult an experienced family law attorney to find out what options are available to you based on the facts of your particular case.
