In the state of SC, what is the legal age for a minor to decide which parent he/she wants to live with?

There is no bright line age. It is whenever the minor shows enough maturity to be capable of making such choices.

There is NO magic age at which a child can dictate to his/her parents where he/she will live. The Court is required by statute to take the child's preference into consideration at every age, along with the reason(s) for said preference.
