Legal Question in Immigration Law in South Carolina

I sent out I-751(Remove Conditions on Permanent Residence Based on Marriage). I did reveived the receipt so I could travel outside the States. But one year of the extention is coming up(early November), but still havent received the new card. I went onto the site and checked, the service center is still processing cases from last JULY.. I usually travel to see my family in Asia in January. Can I still travel with expired green card? Thanks

Very simple solution: Schedule an Infopass appointment on the USCIS website & get an "I-551" stamp in your passport. That will temporarily extend your CR card. Make sure they give you enough time on the stamp to travel & return. Do this asap. Good luck.
