Legal Question in Juvenile Dependency in South Carolina

simple possession of marijuana

i was a passenger in a car that was stop for speeding. The officers search the car a found marijuana in the side door of the passenger car where I was seated. I got charge with simple possession because it was on my side. I told the officer that I didn't know it was there. I have never been in any trouble before. what should I do

you can try the case and argue equal acces and lack of knowledge as a defense or take ocga 16-13-2a and do probations for a year and get dismissal if successfully completed....the choice is yours but either way you may come out with clean record...
