Legal Question in Personal Injury in South Carolina

What's acceptable?

I was involved in a car accidenct. Not my fault. The at fault person ran a stop sign, hitting my brand new car (less than 4 weeks old) in the right rear. Which caused 7,000. in damages. I saw a Doctor a few days later b/c of head and shoulder pain. He diagnosis spasm of trapz-shoulder strain/sprain. I went to PT for the recommended time ( 3 weeks) but still at times, experience pain. My question is what do I deserve for 2,000. in medical bills - out of pocket was 350.00 and what about having a new car damaged .

Re: What's acceptable?

There are many factors involved in determining whether a settlement offer is fair with regard to a personal injury case. For instance, you mentioned your medical bills and property damage, but what about lost wages, future medical expenses, pain and suffering, etc.?

You should contact an experienced personal injury attorney to discuss your case, as injured persons typically fair much better when they have an experienced attorney handling their case.
