Legal Question in Personal Injury in South Carolina

Torn Rotator Cup and Bicep at work

I work for a major Corp that requires heavy lifting. In Oct of 2006 I hurt my shoulder, reported to my employer the incident but nothing was done. In June 2007 I had a MRI and found the rotator cup as well as bicep torn. Had surgery in january 2008. Pins were needed to repair shoulder. Since my return to work they have placed me in heavier work area and it seems they are trying to get me to quit. I paid for my surgery myself even though it was reported to my employer. What can I do? there is permanent damage
