Legal Question in Traffic Law in South Carolina

What are the penalties for Driving under suspension 4th

I was stopped by a local cop one weekend and to my knowledge my license was not suspended. When he pulled me over he stated i was going 50 in a 35 which i knew i wasnt but upon running my license he stated it was suspended. Two tickets kept me from legally having my license, which i should of followed up,As i sat in his car i noticed he had no radar detector but i was going to jail anyways for the lic. situation so i was full of bad luck. This is a municipal charge but i am on probation right now with a year and a half left.If the judge decides to give me time for the driving charge what could be the maximum penalty. And also is it worth hiring an attorney,i go to court in a few weeks they do not provide legal assistance and i may not have proper funds to hire one.thanks

Anyone who goes to court should have a lawyer. As to the possible time in jail for Driving Under Suspension, it depends on how many you have had. For the first offense its 30 days. Good luck.
