Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in South Carolina

Legally separated, making new WILL before divorce...form?

I'm legally separated and want to make a new will and testament, changing the primary beneficary and executor(from separated spouse to son).

What form would I use in SC? Married with adult children doesn't seem right. Could You please inform?

Thanks on advance for any suggestions you can give me.

You shoulld take your will to an attorney and ask him to prepare a codicil for the changes you want. Do not attempt to do this on your own. There are special rules for the execution of a will or codicil in South Carolina. If a will is challenged and it has not been executed correctly, you will not be around to straighten it out. Self help in this case is not a good idea.
