can one be time bared from probating a will?

My uncle died 19 years ago. He made a will which have not been probated. no paper have been filed to have the will probated. The will involved real estate. Do I have any rights to the property?

You may; it depends on what the Will says.

If there is no Will, then you may have rights in intestacy.

The real estate may have been lost as a consquence of the rules governing adverse possession.

There is no statute of limitations barring the probate of a Will.
