Legal Question in Workers Comp in South Carolina

I was hurt in July and sent to the Dr. they wanted me on light duty and my employer had me finish a big job & then go home there wasn't any light duty jobs. I got paperwork through the mail telling me about Cobra coverage, so I called and sure enough I was let go while on WC. What are my rights?

You want to know what your rights are, but you didn't really say in regards to what. I suppose that you are asking about your WC rights. I need to ask because you may also be asking about any rights you may have with regards to being let go from your employment.

As far as your WC rights, your WC should continue and the fact that you were let go should not make any difference. Assuming the WC insurance company has accepted the claim, and it sounds like they have, then you should be entitled to continued medical treatment and to compensation checks. You may also be entitled to a settlement depending on the outcome of your medical treatment.

Everything that I just explained is not to be relied on or taken with certainty I really don't know much about your case. Since you have legal questions you really need to consult with an attorney to be sure. I would suggest calling one right away.
