How to file a divorce in South Dakota

What is the cost to file a divorce in South Dakota? Where do you file at? Is an attorney required? If an attorney is not required, is there sample forms to follow?

I am not familiar with South Dakota but the following information may help guide you in the right direction. Contact your local County Courthouse and call them and ask them these same questions. They should be able to help you. Here in Florida there is a self help office in the court house with forms. You do not have to retain an attorney to handle your case and therefore check to see if your local county courthouse has forms.
