Legal Question in Business Law in Spain

Term of power of attorney issued in Panama / Spanish Law?

We have a power of attorney from Panamian company which does not explicitly state the term of powers. It has only the date of issue. Is there any limit of term of validity of such a power of attorney or the term is indefinite? We heard that the Law in Panama is Spanish.
