Legal Question in Disability Law in Tennessee

I have an 22-year old son with autism and developmentally delayed problems. i get a ssi check on him. do i need to get power of attorney or legal guardianship?

It sounds to me like your son is getting the SSI check and you are managing the money for him.

You definitely need to become his legal conservator, so that you are legally entitled to manage his money for him.
