Legal Question in Business Law in Tennessee

Partnership

I have recently left what I thought was a partnership. I was lead to beleive if i came back to Nashville and start the business and obtain work all of the profits would be split 50/50. After a year and negotiating all contracts and obtaing all work that is going on and pressing again and again for something in writing the sitiuation has deterated to this. I was introduced and everyone was lead to believe that I was a full partner. I need to know if I have any recource to recover any money from this situation.

You may have a de facto partnership. At the very least you may have an equitable claim against them for your reliance on what they said. You should contact an employment law attorney to help you with this situation.
