You can have a 100% monopoly until someone else discovers what you're doing and copies you. It's called free enterprise and competition is strongly favored by the law. That's why companies franchise, because the underlying business idea, while novel initially, can be easily duplicated, but the power of the brand makes all the difference. Consult with an attorney for specifics.
