Legal Question in Consumer Law in Tennessee
new car purchase
We recently purchased a car and thought the transaction had been finalized. However, the dealer contacted us a month later and stated that the car was not completely ours until we provide additional documentation. We paid 3,000 down and wonder since the deal is legally complete are we entiled to the reimbursment of our down payment?

Are you entitled to the return of your down payment? Who would know, based upon these meagre facts?
Better see a lawyer about this unsettling development.
