Post Judgement Intrest

I paid an account off thru the Local court house over 2ys ago. I am now

receiving a collections notice stateing they have Judgement aginst me for a bal still owing for intrest.My file at the courthouse shows paid and has a letter of satisfied judgement from the orignal Attorney. Is it legal for this attemted collction of post judgement intrest? I have asked they cease and desist efforts.

You need to send them a copy of your "paid file" at the courthouse as well as the letter from the original attorney. Also, make sure this is the same debt owed in the original case.
