Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Tennessee

My sister owes 5 of these places in our community. She has been paying on them for about a year..each month she goes to each place and gives them $30 and then let her refinance the initial $200 loan. This takes about $150 our of her income ..which isn't anything to start with according to her rent,etc. As stated, she has done this for about year. There is no end to it. She is very sick and just cannot continue to do this..she needs her money for food. Each place has a check on her. She only draws a SSI check per month. She does own an old car that I finally got out of the hands of on of these places. Exactly what can be done to her if she just tells them that she cannot continue to pay them like this and refiance this each month. Would they actually put her in fail since it involves a bad check. She would die as sick as she is...I am so sick of her giving her money to these people..Thanks for your advise.

There may be a number of options for her including filing for bankrupcy. She should consult an attorney.
