Legal Question in Criminal Law in Tennessee
shoplifting/statue of limitations law
almost a yr. ago i was charged with shoplifting. a capias was isuued. i have moved, married and changed my life, due to a bad period in my life, i am not a candidate for probation i would like to know what the statue of limitations is on this in the state of tennessee.

If you were charged and a warrant was issued, then it doesn't matter what the statute of limitation is, they have already charged you.
