Legal Question in Family Law in Tennessee

Adultry and Assault

My girlfriend has been seperated for 1 year Her husband assaulted her a month ago. He added adultry to his divorce grounds and said he would drop the adultry charge, in return for dropping the assault charges. He has a card I gave her as his proof. They are both active military. Can he win.

Can he win? Yes. I don't know what the evidence would be in either case. Depending on what the evidence is he could lose both or win both. But the real question is what difference it makes whether he gets a divorce based on adultery or not? The important thing is for the divorce to become final -- the grounds for the divorce don't make much difference.
