can they take her back

hi...my husband and i adopted a baby.. the adoption is final..we have her new birth certificate but it was an open adoption and the birth mother is still asking me for favors..i am afraid if i don't do them for her she will try to take back our baby...can she do this? we had her since she was 2 weeks old and adopted her when she was 6 months old and now she is 12 months old..thank you.

Talk with the attorney who handled the adoption for you to see if there might be some special wrinkle in your case I would not be aware of, but generally speaking, once the adoption is final, it is final. She doesn't get to say, "Gee, I changed my mind." You and your spouse are now the parents. You get to make decisions on who the child sees and does not see.
