car awarded in divorce decree
my son was awarded sole custody of a vehicle. the ex wife does not/will not return the car. I have power of attorney for him. I attempted to get the car marked as a stolen vehicle so the car can be returned to me. The car is in Tennesse, I am in Georgia. How can I get this car back if she is not responding to calls or letters.

Custody is for children not property. You get the car back through the proper legal channels. Your son should file a contempt action against her demanding the return of the vehicle. She could be put in jail if she does not comply.
