Legal Question in Family Law in Tennessee

I have a daughter from a previous marriage. My new wife has inherited her parents land and is afraid that my daughter or my ex-wife will try and sue for ownership of the property once I die if she preceeds me in death. Does her stepdaughter (my daughter) or my ex-wife have any standing if they are not listed in the will?

If you're assuming that your current spouse will be giving you her parents' land once she dies, then at your death, your ex-wife will have no right to that property.

Your daughter would have a claim to your property at your death if you do not have a will.
