Legal Question in Family Law in Tennessee

Restraining order on Ex Wife's boyfriend

I have recently went through a bad divorce. I have two daughters 6 and 8 yrs old. My ex wife had an affair and is still dating a man that is married and has been convicted of Domestic Assault against his wife. He has done this numerous times and she has also stated that he looks at internet pornography with underaged girls involved. I had a restraining order placed on him during my divorce that lasted for a year after the divorce, the year has expired and my ex wife continues to see him and has recently started bringing him around my daughters. Do I have a chance of continuing this restraining order? I have hired an attorney to get a hearing in front of the same judge that divorced us.

From what you have said, I would guess that you do, but the person who will know best what your prospects are is the attorney handling your case. Talk with him to see what you need to have the best chance of success.
