Re: Intellectual Property Theft

Theft of intellectual property is as serious and actionable as theft of physical property. Depending on the facts you have a number of options. You can file a complaint for money damages and you can file a petition for an injunction, a court order, keeping the former employee from contacting any of your customers. These cases are very complicated, but if you have enough money at stake you should contact a lawyer to help you. Also, you should have a lawyer conduct an intellectual property audit to suggest ways to make sure this does not happen again.
