40 Hour Work Week

If I have a travel job and I leave home on Monday morning and do not get home until after 5 on Thursday, have I legally worked at 40 hour week?

It depends. If you are classified as an outside sales person, you are exempt from overtime. It also depends upon what kind of duties you are performing on the road.
