Contaminated Picket Line

If a labor union authorizes a strike against my employer and I choose to cross the picket line to work, does the union have legal grounds to sue me? If so, on what grounds?

Re: Contaminated Picket Line

It will depend on what the union's by-laws are and whether or not you are a union member. Strictly speaking, the union cannot sue you, but they may be able to bring internal charges against you. You may want to consult with an attorney about your situation, particularly if the union is threatening you with some action.
