Legal Question in Employment Law in Tennessee

I made formal complaints to my boss about the Lady that was training me being very hostile towards me and being very rude and hateful and refusing to train me,which was her job. Instead of reprmanding her they fired me. I am not the only person that has lost their job or quiot because of her. On my pink slip the reason was given that i did not comply with company policy. I did not know that a company could have a policy that ment a person had to be degraded and have to take being told that they were a "waste of time" to keep a job. Is there any legal action i can take on this matter?

If the reason you were in the situation were in was because of your membership in a protected activity or because you engaged in some protected activity, then the employer's actions may be illegal. Otherwise, the most likely remedy in Tennessee is that you should be able to draw unemployment compensation.
