Lease agreement

Our daughter was in college and we were cosigners on her lease on an apartment. She has since left with an soldier who is now AWOL. How can we get out of this lease?

Call the apartment complex and tell them that you would like to work out an end to the lease. Explain the situation. Do this as soon as possible. If they can find a new tenant, they can lease the apartment out to someone else. This will reduce the amount of debt you will owe on the lease.
