Whether you can recover for your medical bills and lost wages depends on a number of factors. You really need to speak with an attorney with whom you feel comfortable and discuss all the facts of the case and all of the types of damages to which you are entitled. Generally speaking, yes, medical bills and lost wages are among the types of things you can sue for. You also have the right to seek payment for your pain and suffering as well as other types of damages. Best of luck to you and feel free to contact our office if you would like to discuss this. Please be aware there are filing deadlines in every case and you need to discuss those with an attorney as well.
