Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Tennessee

Lender issues

When looking to refinance our home for a better rate and consolodate bills we started with several and the deal was not as good as we wanted so we found another that gave us a good rate and payment amount. Now we can't get the appraisal that we paid cash for or get them to turn over the necessary information to get what we need to close the deal with someone else.

I told the one guy from the start I was looking for the best deal and I was talking to several people. He pushed us into signing to get started we had the appraisal done and it was 3 weeks and no final information. I talked to someone recommended by a friend and he had it approved in 3 days and only needs the appraisal and the FHA # to sign tomorrow and the other business will not sign over the appraisal or the FHA case #.

Is there anything we can do?
