Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Tennessee

Are rumors included?

Over the course of the past few years several sexually related rumors have been started about a co-worker of mine. I recently started working there and now the rumors have started about me. Do Tennesee state Sexual Harrassment Laws cover this type of incident. The supervisors have over looked the issue. Dispite repeated promises to correct it.

You need to report this activity. Your company should have a policy which tells you who to report this type of unwanted conduct if your supervisors ignore it. You must report it and give your company a chance to take care of it. Once you report it the company must investigate the problem and take prompt reasonable action to remedy the situation.
