Executor Fees

If the estates co-executors send a letter to all named benificaries requesting executor fees and do not file a motion to collect these fees prior to the letter being mailed and recieved by all the named beneficaries, will the court uphold thier motion to collect the fees?

The timing of the letter is irrelevant. What matters is the reasonableness of fees and the Will itself.
